Toju started doing comedy in 1994.  He got the hook up when he met Geoff Schuman in Shephards Bush.  He approached him and he arranged an audition for him.  That went well and he got Toju shows all over the place.  He was regularly on the road touring up and down the country.

Within a few months Toju was on the Real McCoy, BBC 2.  Other TV appearances have included the Aforce BBC 2,  Nights Out At The Empire Channel 4, Get Up Stand Up  Channel 4, The Stand Up Show BBC 1 1999, Balls Of Steel, 2005, 2006, 2007.  He played a character called the militant black guy.

His stand up style is energetic fast paced, high octane comedy, with nothing held back, anything and almost everything is a target.

His comedy influences are Damon Wayans, Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Bill Hicks, Jim Carrey, and Richard Pryor.
