Ragz-CV is a lyricist coming straight out of South London. Originally from Brixton the poet of mixed race (Jamaican & Irish background) is known for his amazing work with his previous E.P ‘Paying Homage to the King’ produced by his Granddad, which made over £6,000 for ‘Alzheimer’s Society ‘charity. This led him to getting press from MTV,BBC Radio, The Voice, Huffington post & a TV appearance on sky channel BEN to name a few. He’s also been nominated for ‘9 awards’ winning 2 of them & coming runner up in 2 all in the space of 2 years.
Performing at over 200 shows in the last couple of years, the 27 year olds clever wordplay, thought provoking lyrics and relevant subject matter makes him a real prospect for the future, no better example of this is his previous release ‘Digital Slaves’. The single went on to get press in over 40 different blogs/magazines including SBTV, Flavour magazine & the video also got picked up by world renowned music website worldstarhiphop.com, with Ragz-CV also completing a successful 16 date tour for the song.
After releasing his latest single ‘Summer Days, Summer Nights’ produced by his late Granddad Robbie ‘King’ Robinson in the summer of 2014 it got a great response & was widely spoken of as the ‘quintessential Jam of the summer.’ This led to an 11 date tour which saw Ragz-CV go back on BBC Radio, Colourful Radio & Bang Radio to name a few. The single also got picked up by over 30 blogs/ magazines including Pardon My Blog, SBTV & some American blogs. After a very successful couple of years Ragz-CV is looking to build on what has already been a great career.
